Together With Lines And Cracks

Hi Guys,  It's Friday and the weekend is almost here.  I 'm still playing with my crackle polishes and  I love the fact that they make wonderful backgrounds and they give the look of  texture to any nail art design.

Here is Pure Ice Silver Mercedes and topped with crackle polish Pure Ice Shattered.  I like the combo silver and green and with the added white and black stripes it pops.

I left my ring finger as an accent giving the design dimension.

I'm pretty pleased with this look.  What are your thoughts?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

Get Bonded with OPI’s Bond Manicure

Get the Bond Look!

Get Bonded with OPI’s Bond Manicure for Holidays, as seen on Skyfall’s Bond Girl Bérénice Marlohe

For sexy, sophisticated nail designs this holiday season, OPI launches Get Bonded, a set featuring three lacquers from the Skyfall Collection, to get the Bond manicure, as seen on Bérénice Marlohe in the latest James Bond installment. With Skyfall, a rich maroon, painted on top of the nail and GoldenEye, a shimmering gold, painted on the undersides, Marlohe’sluxurious manicure offers a glamorous final touch to any holiday look.  Get Bonded also includes The Spy Who Loved Me, which can be worn instead of Skyfallfor a vibrant red nail.

“The Bond manicure is the hottest look of the season,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director.  “Inspired by the film’s blend of elegance and danger, this manicure looks like a timeless classic at first glance, but has an unexpected twist. If your nails aren’t long enough to wear Bérénice’s manicure, I suggest wearing either shade with GoldenEyepainted along the tip or moon for a pop of shimmering color, or layering one coat of GoldenEye over either The Spy Who Loved Me or Skyfall for a multi-faceted, glittering look.”

As with all OPInail lacquers, Get Bonded lacquers contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, and feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush for the ultimate in application.

Pink Wednesday, Leopard Print Nails

Hi Everyone,  Do you like animal prints?  Which ones? Leopard, Zebra, Giraffe just to name a few.  I love them in clothing, handbags, house accessories just about anything.  Today, I did leopard prints on my nails.  It's a fun and easy design to do and I plan on doing more.  They are really striking when they are done with various color bases and colored spots.

My base is Pure Ice Nude Beach which is a very pale pink creme.  The gold glitter is OPI Gift of Gold (2010 OPI Ulta Exclusive Winter Collection) it also has some red glitter in it. The black is Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris.  I achieved this lovely print by laying down the golden spots in random shapes with my dotting tool also with my dotting tool I outlined the spots with black it can't get any easier than that.

I love my nails and I can't stop looking at them.

What do you guys think? Have you tried leopard print nails?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

30 Days Of Purple, Day 6: Nina Ultra Pro PURPLE-XING

Finally getting back on track with my 30 Days of Purple.  It's so hard for me to commit to a challenge when there is so many things to do in life besides swatching polishes. (Did I say that?! Lol!)  But, I'll try my best to keep it going even though I'm not up to date here is day six.  I'll be done sometime in 2013 :P

Nina Ultra Pro Purple-Xing

Nina Ultra Pro Purple-Xing
Gorgeous, right?  I'd say Purple-Xing is one of the best jelly holographic purple polishes I've seen.  Great formula and price.  I bought this from my local Sally's a long, long time ago.  I don't know if it's still available at the store but I think it's available online.  Nina Ultra Pro packaging has changed to a rounder  bottle and with a sleek handle.

Nina Ultra Pro Purple-Xing
I used three coats to cover well.  You purple lovers if you don't own this amazing polish you need to get it.  I think you will love it just as much as I do.  Why would you pass it up? Lol!

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

Blue Monday, Jelly Jeans Queen And Hippie Fest

Hi Guys, I'm loving Nail The B.Y.T.C.H Jelly Jeans Queen because it's a gorgeous periwinkle with blue shimmer.  I'm such a sucker when it comes to the color periwinkle if I see one in the store that I don't already have I'll probably buy it.

I purchased Wonder Beauty Products Hippie Fest several months ago but never used it.  After coming across a blog that showed a lovely picture of it I quickly remembered that I had it.  So,  I immediately went to look for my bottle.  It didn't look the same as was featured.  The base was pink and only had silver and blue shreds, the shreds melted turning the clear base pink.   I contacted Jen and she said that it had been reformulated she was willing to refund me or send me out a new reformulated bottle.  I opted to get a new bottle and I'm glad I did.  Great customer service Jen!  Thanks *-*

I'm glad I paired these two together they were meant to be.  Hippie Fest is loaded with shreds of glitter in royal blue, teal,  purple, green and chartreuse in a shimmering base of white iridescent and golden fairy dusts.  A great formula, here I used 1 & 1/2 coats to cover well.

I wish there are more colored shreds in a bottle like Hippie Fest.  Oh, Jen does have another! I hope other Indie makers hear my plea. Lol!  Wonder Beauty Products can be found on esty.

Do you like shredded glitter?  What are your thoughts?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

Caught In Candy Design

Hi Guys,  I have another simple abstract nail design to share with you.  My base is Nail The B.Y.T.C.H Caught In Candy,  I love this greenish teal shade.

I started the design with black starting in the corner striping toward my cuticles.  Then made white dots along the stripe.

My plan was to make gradient dots along the stripe but it didn't happen.  I seem to always run out of paint making the dots messy looking.  Oh, well I just have to keep trying but I'm still pleased with the results.

What are your thoughts?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)
