Pink Wednesday, Pink and Gold with Elegance

Hi Everyone,  This week is moving quite rapidly it's already the middle of the week.  Again, Pink Wednesday with elegant colors of pink and gold.

Here is NOPI Don't Over Pink It, it's the perfect pink to be paired up with gold. The gold is Bettina Glamour Celebrate

After applying the pink and letting it dry I applied the gold on the right side of each nail.  It's simple yet elegant and appealing to the eyes.  Love, love, love this gold it is so sparkly and looks like real liquid gold can't wait to wear it alone.  I think I will wear it as my base and stamp over it, sounds exciting, eh?

I'll definitely be wearing this combo again.  What are your thoughts?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

Pink Wednesday, Leopard Print Nails

Hi Everyone,  Do you like animal prints?  Which ones? Leopard, Zebra, Giraffe just to name a few.  I love them in clothing, handbags, house accessories just about anything.  Today, I did leopard prints on my nails.  It's a fun and easy design to do and I plan on doing more.  They are really striking when they are done with various color bases and colored spots.

My base is Pure Ice Nude Beach which is a very pale pink creme.  The gold glitter is OPI Gift of Gold (2010 OPI Ulta Exclusive Winter Collection) it also has some red glitter in it. The black is Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris.  I achieved this lovely print by laying down the golden spots in random shapes with my dotting tool also with my dotting tool I outlined the spots with black it can't get any easier than that.

I love my nails and I can't stop looking at them.

What do you guys think? Have you tried leopard print nails?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

30 Days Of Purple Day 2: Sinful Colors Fig

It's Day 2, last week I went to several Walgreens looking for the new Sinful Colors Holiday Shimmer Collection since they were on sale for 99 cents.  I didn't find them, but I did pickup a few that I didn't have. One of them is Sinful Colors Fig it's a lovely purple cream with fuchsia pink shimmer.

                                              Sinful Colors Fig

I am absolutely in love with this polish, love the flash of shimmer in it. It applied very well only needing 2 coats.   I heard that it's a dupe to OPI Plugged in Plum which I do not have to compare.

I decided to stamp over it with a zebra print using konad special polish wine red with image plate Mash-41.  After stamping I was really pleased with the look of wine red over Fig.  This is what it looked like before topcoat.

Awesome right? Got the design on straight (I'm so proud) :p

I layered on one coat of the old Revlon Colorstay topcoat then a coat of Out the door tc.  After taking the pictures this is what it looks like...boo!

What happened?  The topcoat washed out the color! I never had this happen. Has this happened to you? Thank goodness it's not as washed out in person as the photos are showing, but still not as nice as before topcoat.

So, how are you liking Fig and did you find the Holiday Shimmers?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

Pink Wednesday, OPI Elephantastic Pink

Hi Guys,
Hump day already.  I have on OPI Elephantastic Pink from the OPI Spring 2008 India Collection

OPI Elephantastic Pink
Elephantastic Pink is a  happy pink it's bright but not too bright.   I love the crelly texture (half jelly, half creme).  I wish I can turn all my chalky cremes into crellies they are so much easier to apply then the chalky ones.

OPI India Collection

Pink Wednesday, Hare Polish: Dog Day Dream

Waves Hi,  After wearing SinfulColors Hot Hot Heat I thought it was a good base to wear with my newest polish that I purchased, Hare Polish Dog Day Dream.  After seeing swatches of it from various bloggers I knew I had to have it.  I kid you not you have to see this right in front of your own eyes.  I'm telling you if you were to ask me what polish I would wear for the rest of my life if I were stranded on a beach I would choose Hare Polish Dog Day Dream!

Hare Dog Day Dream

Dog Day Dream a gorgeous fuchsia jelly that's engulfed with purple and pink glitters.  It's too thick to polish on, I'm not complaining but dabbing it on works best. I added a layer of Gelous followed with a coat of Seche Vite topcoat.

Hare Polish Dog Day Dream

I can't stop staring at my nails.  Hubbie and my friends love it too!

Hare Polish Dog Day Dream

Hare polish is one of my favorite Indie Polishes.  Nikole knows how to make luscious jellies with glitter.  I want her entire collection!

Here is a picture of my dominant hand.  I have been contemplating on changing my nail shape to almonds.  I'm loving the shape, it might sound crazy but I like the idea of just having my dominant hand in almonds and leaving my right hand square. Lol!

Hare Polish Dog Day Dream

If you don't own Dog Day Dream I suggest you get it. (It's out of stock right now)  I tell no lie you will love it!  Hare Polish can be purchase at etsy  or shop.llarowe.com

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

OPI Pink Of Hearts 2012 Collection Swatches and Review

Hi Everyone,  I hope you had a blast of a weekend.  Monday has rolled around again.  I have the OPI Pink Of Hearts 2012 Collection to share with you.  This duo pack is designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support.  I love the little bows on the bottle cap.  It would have been nice if OPI included decals with this set.

OPI Pink of Hearts 2012 Collection

I Think In Pink, it's a sheer jelly pink. The formula is thick and creamy. Even though it's sheer it's buildable and covered well in 3 coats.  I love this shade of pink it's dreamy and girly.

You Glitter Be Good To Me,  This glitter is so shiny and sparkly.  It's packed with small light pink hex and darker pink hex glitter in a clear base. Here I dabbed it on over I Think In Pink so you can see the contrast between both polishes.

This glitter is chunky but one coat of Seche Vite made it smooth to the touch.

Overall,  This is a very cute set.  Although I Think In Pink needed 3 coats it was not problematic.  You Glitter Be Good To Me is chunky so you may only need 2-3 coats alone.  I can't wait to do a jelly sandwich with this set.

Will you be picking up this collection?  Any Thoughts? Please leave your comments down below.
