Pink Wednesday...CND Pink Wishes Collection

I've had my CND Pink Wishes Collection for awhile now so I thought it was a good time to try this set today.   Pink Wishes a light pale pink creme.  It's very subtle but you can look at it and know it's pink.  It was tricky to apply.  I had to add 4 coats to cover all bald spots.  Geez!

This is my dominant hand (Left) My polishing skills are not too good

Then I applied 2 coats of Pink Wishes Pearl its for layering like the other CND Effects.  Can't wait to see what it looks like over Black.

Here I used IP BM-244 with Konad Special Polish in Psyche Pink

Teal Tuesdays...Sparitual Ebb & Flow w/Challenge

Hi Guys,

Today's teal is from Sparitual Water Collection, Ebb & Flow.  It's a pretty turquoise blue creme that's bright, but not a neon.  It's really saturated, you can getaway with applying one coat.  I used 2 coats.

Facebook Teal Tuesdays Challenge: Animal Prints

First I applied one coat of SH Diamond Strength Glass Slipper (white flakies) on top of Ebb & Flow

Then I stamped on with Revlon Fashionista using Konad IP M57 the Zebra Print. Although Fashionista isn't a thick polish it  turned out wonderful!

Here you can really see the white flakies

I hope you guys like it *-*

Blue Monday, Soft Butterflies

I have been working out in the garden all week.  Phew! I'm tired.  I'm seeing lots of butterflies flying around my flowers.  They surely put a smile on my face *_______*

Before taking off yesterdays manicure I wanted to see what a stamping design would look like over  crackle.  I decided to add butterflies and I wanted it to look subtle almost barely there.  I used Konad Special Polish, White Pearl along with stamping plate DRK-A (I love this plate)

White Pearl is not as bold as the regular Konad White.  It came out just like I wanted.  You still can see the crackle in the background.  See the silver glitter peaking through!  Those of you that don't care for crackle but love stamp on designs give it a try.

Sorry that's topcoat rimmed around my cuties

Have you stamped on top of your crackle manicures?  Will you give it a try?  Thoughts?

Pure Ice Crackle duo Strike A Pose

Another crackle polish you say.  I'm not quite over crackle polish yet.  Pure Ice have some lovely duo sets that include a glitter, crackle and a cute small nail file.  Love the combo!

537CP Beware, Silver Glitter
Strike A Pose, Teal Shimmer Crackle.  In the bottle it looks like a duochrome

I used a grey base before putting on one coat of glitter and one coat of crackle.

(Grey base: Pure Ice, Kiss Me Here) I put on the grey to mimic the nail file.

Strike A Pose, a deeper teal then what the pictures are showing.  Sorry my camera didn't pick up this color well.  It's more closer to the duo pack bottle picture.

I tried putting on the crackle while the glitter was still wet.  It didn't crack for me. I then waited for the glitter to dry and got a few cracks as you see here.   I was hoping for more cracks to see more of the glitter.

Bari Cosmetics is available online at www.baricosmetics.com and these can be purchased at  Walgreens and Walmart stores

Have you tried any of the duo sets?  Thoughts?

Victorian Wall Paper

I'm enjoying using my stamping plates and now I'm obsessed with collecting them.  The ladies over at  Facebook Adventures in Stamping are enablers.  After wearing Sinful Colors Nail Junkie matted for one day I was ready to do some stamping.

I'm loving my latest plate that I purchased DRK-A.  It's large enough to cover my nail beds.  I'm also in love with Sally Hansen Color Quick Nail Color Pens.  I don't like their brushes, but they are awesome for stamping. The one I used is Gold Chrome.

I like how the glitter is peeking through the design.  It looks like an old Victorian wall paper pattern.

I sealed it with Seche Vite Topcoat

Do you collect stamping plates?  Are you hooked on stamping?

Karine, Romance à Paris/ Swatches and Review

There are lots of Indie polishes that are just awesome!  I'm seeing lots of fabulous glitter combinations.  I have one to show you today by Karine.  Romance à Paris is a fuchsia jelly with multicolored flakies and glitter.  What polish lover do you know who doesn't like jellies, glitter and flakies? Lol!

I was so surprised the first coat was opaque and the glitter/flakies evened out nicely. I used 2 coats

The only thing I didn't like about it, it dried a bit dull.

After I applied Seche Vite topcoat I fell in love.  Look at the glitter and flakies shine.

Don't have to worry about  Romance  à Paris being hungry for topcoat.  Very smooth with only one coat.

Karine did a fabulous job putting this blend together.  Keep in mind it's not 3 free.

Romance à Paris is part of a 10 polish collection called The Birthday Club. These will be available on April 1, 2012.  For more information, visit Karine's Facebook page HERE and follow Karine's blog HERE.
