Teal Tuesdays...Challenge Teal Triplets

Today is Teal Tuesdays.  Not much of a challenge today, there are three polishes to choose from  China Glaze Atlantis, Zoya Zuza and A-England Saint George.  I choose the latter.  All are beautiful but I haven't tried my Saint George yet so here it is...

A-England Saint George

A-England Saint George

What a beautiful dark teal scattered holo.  I decided not to add any nailart on top of it.  Can you believe it's a one coater?!  If you don't own it I suggest you get it :)

Zoya Gloss Collection

                                         Zoya Paloma
Zoya Gloss Collection

Sheer berry red jelly gloss,  it's very pretty, buildable easy to apply.  Here I used four coats

Zoya Frida
Zoya Gloss Collection

Sheer blue teal/green jelly gloss, sorry about the picture quality.  Don't know why my tips are showing green.  The teal color is what it looks like. It's gorgeous and it too is buildable.  Here I used four coats.

                                    Zoya Katherine
Zoya Gloss Collection

Sheer eggplant jelly gloss, a custom shade for Peter Som.  It's buildable too and I used four coats (sorry about the lint...Yikes)

I love this collection.  Who doesn't like jellies right?!  They are really shiny.  I can't pick my favorite because I love them all.  If you want to wear them without visible nail line showing you must at least apply 4 coats.

OPI Germany Collection Fall/Winter 2012 Press Release

Edgy Elegance

OPI Launches the Germany Collection for Fall/Winter 2012

OPI embraces runway trends with the Germany Collection for Fall/Winter 2012. Drawing inspiration from Berlin, an exciting new fashion hub that blends classic looks with the avant-garde, the collection’s twelve shades offer a mixture of vibrant color, urban-chic neutrals, and reds in variations from light to dark

“Designers showcased rich colors and striking textures for fall,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director.  “The Germany Collection beautifully complements these looks, with standout shades in various hues of red and burgundy – the season’s ‘new black.’ Sapphire, black olive and lime yellow are married with creamy neutrals in honey, taupe and nude rose.”

“The overall feel of the Germany Collection is elegance with an edge,” adds Suzi. “The varied palette of colors adds another accent to the list of special touches – think beadwork, paneling, fur and embroidery – that walked the runways during New York Fashion Week. Wearing these shades on fingers and toes is a great way to accessorize a range of looks for the season.”
Germany by OPI includes the following shades:

Don’t Pretzel My Buttons
A haute honey-beige that can always make you smile.

My Very First Knockwurst

Franken Polish: Fiesta Peach

Good Morning,

I made another frankening and I am quite proud of this one.  I think it's unique in the since that  I haven't seen another like it. (Yay:)  Alert alert!  The pictures aren't color accurate. (Boo! :/) The true base color is a very light pale peach not a pale yellow as these picures are showing.

Blue Monday, Franken Polish Passion Lites

Good Morning,

I hope you had a great weekend.  Did you take advantage of the $.99 Sinful Colors yesterday?  If not I believe the sale is for all this week so you have time.  I picked up Rainstorm, Slate and Lavender.  I'm looking for Leapfrog will have to look for it at another Walgreen's.

Today, I'm showing you a franken polish I made from some of my glitters that I already have.  Y'all I think the frankening bug has bitten me.

Franken Polish

For my base I layered 2 coats of Orly Royal Navy.  (Royal Navy is one of my favorites from Orly)

These are all the glitters I mixed together creating *Passion Lites* .  No special recipe I just dumped a little of each one in an empty bottle.

Franken Polish
Franken Polish...Passion Lites

I am so happy the way it turned out.  Look at all the colorful glitter pieces, purple, gold, blue, copper and teal.

Franken Polish

After applying the glitter to get a smooth surface I added on one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.  My nails are smooth as glass.

Franken Polish

Like I said I have been bitten by the bug! Lol!  I bought some glitter, empty bottles and glamour base.  Stay tuned for more...

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)
