Jessica Spicy Dream Collection Fall 2012, Swatches and Review

Hi Guys,  Hope you are doing well. I have Jessica Spicy Dream Collection to show you.   It contains lots of browns and reds that are great to wear during this season.

Jessica Spicy Dream Collection

See single swatches after the jump...

                                               Jessica Brown Sugar
Brown Sugar, a chocolate brown with silver shimmer.  The shimmer is hidden in the shade.  The formula is great the polish spread out evenly and I used two coats.

Jessica Crimson Tattoo
Crimson Tattoo, a vampy oxblood red jelly. First coat was patchy the second coat evened it out. It has a blacken appearance. Nice formula.

Jessica Champagne Bubbles
Champagne Bubbles,  the name fits well!  It's hard to describe a champagne color with orange, gold and silver a foil metallic finish.  For these photos I used three coats it did cover well with two.

Jessica Gingersnap
Gingersnap, this polish is gorgeous! Brown, green and reddish duochrome foil finish.  A great formula I used three coats.

Jessica Pumpkin Delight
Pumpkin Delight,  another duochrome color shift foil finish.  Copper red, and gold..it's marvelous!  Used three coats.

Jessica Cinnamon Kiss
Cinnamon Kiss,  I have been going crazy over shades like this.  It's similar to OPI German-icure a blacken red shimmer it's rich looking.  A great formula I used two coats.

This is a great collection,  If you like browns and reds you need this collection.  The collection can be purchased at Jessicacosmetics.com

Acid Wash Method Nail Design

Hi Guys,

I did my nails using the Acid Wash Method technique back in June and didn't like the way they turned out and opted not to show them to you.  It looks bizarre but also interesting.  Today I built up enough confidence to show you. Here it goes don't throw tomatoes. Lol!

After I was done I layered a coat of gold glitter on top.  (Don't remember which one :/)

Items used
First I layered on Surfer Boyz n Berry, let dry next Ocean View, lastly Orange You Fast! I dipped my elf concealer brush in some acetone in various spots on my nails wiping off revealing the colors underneath.

I tried to make it look better by adding on the gold glitter.  Lol!  I should have left it alone *-*  I'm going to try this method again until I'm satisfied with the result.

You guys are so good at telling me what my designs look like.  Be honest I want to know.

Blue Monday, Dry Brush Graffiti

Before I take off a polish sometimes I try out a design.  For this one I used several blue polishes, wiped the brush inside the bottle much as I could then I swiped what was left on the brush onto the nails creating a dry brush method.  Effortless a graffiti look.

Blue items: Dare to Wear Oceanview, SH Insta-Dri Teal-y Fast.  Silver:  L.A. Colors Art Deco, silver
This was a trial and error, next time I'll cover the nails with more dry brush strokes near the cuticle area.

After dry brushing on the blues the last step I applied the silver in a criss-cross motion.

Dots Layed To The Side

Yippee it's Friday,

I have a simple design to show you, it brings out a plain color when I get bored with it.  I dotty dot dot some black dots on the side of my nails.

Lime Cooler With Glitter

I have another It's So Easy Stripe Rite to show you.  It's a gorgeous multicolored glitter in a gold base.  I paired it with Jessica Lime Cooler, just like the name says it's a lime green.  Nice combo to wear for the summer.

There are no names written on the Stripe Rites, but I think the website describes it as a gold holographic.  I swiped several coats at a diagonal until the glitter was opaque on the nail.

Summertime Wispy Flowers

According to the calender it's officially summertime.  As far as I'm concern summertime was long time ago.  Talk about hot...sure is in Florida :D Matter of fact we didn't get any April showers to bring in May flowers but for the month of June oh yeah lots of flowers.

My mani today I painted on some wispy flowers.   It's actually my first time trying so hopefully I'll get better at it.  I used It's So Easy Stripe Rite stripers in black and white.

I like the Stripe Rite brushes because they aren't as long as some of the other nailart stripers.  For me they are easier to control.

Pink Wednesday Featuring...It's So Easy

It's Pink Wednesday and it's time for some nailart using some cracked ice flakies from It's So Easy.  I just did some little experimenting using these on natural nails.  The one I'm using today is Fuchsia green.  I like the name Cracked Ice that's just what they look like...shaving pieces of ice.

It's So Easy Cracked Ice Fuchsia Green

Cracked Ice Fuchsia Green is a beautiful flakie that is fuchsia in color and flashes with multiple colors including green.  The green is not showing here but trust me it's green.

While the polish was still wet I placed the flakies on using an orange stick.  I wet the end of the orange stick with some water and dipped the stick into the pot picking up several pieces of flakie and placed them on the nail gently.   I wanted a backward french style that's why the flakies are packed on.  But, next time I will place them on one at a time so they will lie down.

Starting from top left:  Glitter Powders in White and Gold.  The other 4 are Cracked Ice in  Gold Holographic, Silver Holographic,  Mother of Pearl, and Fuchsia Green
