Prosperity Meets Purple Haze

Good Friday Morning,

After wearing Illamasqua Prosperity from the Rubber Brights Collection I paired it up with Indie Polish All That Glitters Purple Haze.

 I purchased All That Glitter Purple Haze awhile back and was just itching to wear it.  Prosperity is a perfect match I just wish the shiny purple squares were more visible on my nails.

It's chunky and packed well in a clear base then again it looks like a faint light jelly purple base.   I'm happy that the base didn't effect the white square glitters which remain crispy white. 

 

It's so chunky that polishing it on was a pain but the dabbing motion worked wonders spreading out the glitters evenly.

 

Here it is with a coat of Gelous and Seche Vite Top Coat

 

 

Here you can see the shiny purple squares that's hidden on the nail.  Maybe next time I'll pair this glitter with a light grey creme so all the glitters can show up well.

Throwback Thursdays: NATROBBINS Phantom

Savvy from Addicted To Polish decided to have a Throw Back Thursdays and I decided to join her.  Besides I have lots of oldies but goodies polishes that I have in my collection to share with you.  They are screaming to be used and I am excited!

The formula is so thin when I shake the bottle you can hear it. The first coat gave me bald spots I had to be patient and take my time with it.  The second coat was easier and the third coat was perfect.  It's a chocolate brown with a flash of violet shimmer.  It's unique, I don't have anything like it in my collection.  I mistakenly found it on ebay while searching for another shade by NATROBBINS.  Unfortunately, this brand is discontinued but it's still available on ebay or you may find it at a dusty.

Love the square bottle.  The brush size is standard.

Nicole By OPI 2012 Target Exclusives Collection Swatches and Review

Multichrome foil shimmer that shifts green, blue and gold.  First coat covered really well, second coat shows light brush strokes but it doesn't take away from the loveliness.

 

 

Nicole By OPI For God Times Sake

 

 

 

Brown olive green base with gold, blue, pink shimmers.  It's quite interesting, it doesn't go well with my skintone but I like this polish very unique.  Used 3 coats.

 

 

Nicole By OPI Iris My Case

 

 

 

Duochrome shimmer shifts from purple to olive green.  The formula is very nice just like Mer-Maid For Each Other. Used 2 coats.

 

 

Nicole By OPI Just Busta Mauve

 

 

 

Another very unique polish, brown base with pink, gold and blue shimmers.  This one looks okay with my skintone.  Used 3 coats.

Dark blue base duochrome with pink and blue shimmers shifts from blue to teal-ish green.  Very vibrant and bold.  I love this one.  Used 2 coats.

 

 

 

The formula on these were great.  This collection is amazing along with a  couple of unique ones.  Love the shimmer in them.  All are great to wear for this fall.

A raspberry pink with a flash of shimmer.  It's charming attractive, glamorous, striking it's just beautiful.  I applied 2 coats.

Black base packed with silver tinsel glitter.  It sparkles and shines.  Very saturated, no gritty glitter here.  Classy...I used 2 coats.

The formula on these was perfect.  They are very opaque and shiny without topcoat.  I love this collection! Get yourself this set.

Glitter Gal Duochromes...Buckled Bronze Swatches and Review

I am a big fan of duo chromes!  I have one to show you today from Glitter Gal Australia a 6-piece collection consisting of sheer duo chrome polishes.

 

 

Buckled Bronze is a dark bronze base with a bronze and an olive green duo chrome effect.  The color shift is very weak but it's more noticeable in the sun.  The formula is thin but buildable, here I used 4 coats for opacity.

Here it is with one coat over black, now it's a beautiful red shimmer effect.
