Pink Wednesday: Button Down Fuchsia Coat

Good Morning, Priti NYC  Mulberry Jam is such a gorgeous glitter and I think it's perfect to wear on Pink Wednesday.  I wanted a design so I added black dots down the middle of my nails.

First I added on a large dot below my cuticles.  Then I added on smaller ones.  I think it's really cute, looks like a button down fuchsia coat wouldn't you agree?

I love this glitter it's bold and it sparkles

What are your thoughts?  What are you wearing on Pink Wednesday?

30 Days Of Purple Day 2: Sinful Colors Fig

It's Day 2, last week I went to several Walgreens looking for the new Sinful Colors Holiday Shimmer Collection since they were on sale for 99 cents.  I didn't find them, but I did pickup a few that I didn't have. One of them is Sinful Colors Fig it's a lovely purple cream with fuchsia pink shimmer.

                                              Sinful Colors Fig

I am absolutely in love with this polish, love the flash of shimmer in it. It applied very well only needing 2 coats.   I heard that it's a dupe to OPI Plugged in Plum which I do not have to compare.

I decided to stamp over it with a zebra print using konad special polish wine red with image plate Mash-41.  After stamping I was really pleased with the look of wine red over Fig.  This is what it looked like before topcoat.

Awesome right? Got the design on straight (I'm so proud) :p

I layered on one coat of the old Revlon Colorstay topcoat then a coat of Out the door tc.  After taking the pictures this is what it looks like...boo!

What happened?  The topcoat washed out the color! I never had this happen. Has this happened to you? Thank goodness it's not as washed out in person as the photos are showing, but still not as nice as before topcoat.

So, how are you liking Fig and did you find the Holiday Shimmers?

Pink Wednesday, Hare Polish: Dog Day Dream

Waves Hi,  After wearing SinfulColors Hot Hot Heat I thought it was a good base to wear with my newest polish that I purchased, Hare Polish Dog Day Dream.  After seeing swatches of it from various bloggers I knew I had to have it.  I kid you not you have to see this right in front of your own eyes.  I'm telling you if you were to ask me what polish I would wear for the rest of my life if I were stranded on a beach I would choose Hare Polish Dog Day Dream!

Hare Dog Day Dream

Dog Day Dream a gorgeous fuchsia jelly that's engulfed with purple and pink glitters.  It's too thick to polish on, I'm not complaining but dabbing it on works best. I added a layer of Gelous followed with a coat of Seche Vite topcoat.

Hare Polish Dog Day Dream

I can't stop staring at my nails.  Hubbie and my friends love it too!

Hare Polish Dog Day Dream

Hare polish is one of my favorite Indie Polishes.  Nikole knows how to make luscious jellies with glitter.  I want her entire collection!

Here is a picture of my dominant hand.  I have been contemplating on changing my nail shape to almonds.  I'm loving the shape, it might sound crazy but I like the idea of just having my dominant hand in almonds and leaving my right hand square. Lol!

Hare Polish Dog Day Dream

If you don't own Dog Day Dream I suggest you get it. (It's out of stock right now)  I tell no lie you will love it!  Hare Polish can be purchase at etsy  or shop.llarowe.com

Pink Wednesday: Two OPI's And A Little Crack

Good Morning,

Today is pink Wednesday. I was looking through my stash and realized I don't have very many pinks.  Just last week or so I picked up two pinks from OPI Nice Stems Collection.  Be A Dahlia Won't You and I Lilly Love You.  In my opinion I thought these were the winners in the collection.

Be A Dehlia Won't You is a shimmering foil fuchsia Pink.  It really shines on the nail.  I Lily Love You is truly amazing.  It has multi flakies and glitter in a tinted clear pink base.  It is excellent for a gradient mani and so easy to do as you see on my ring finger.  I need to do a full gradient mani with this.  I love it so much I bought a backup bottle. Lol! *-*

On my dominant hand I wanted to see what Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat: Fuchsia Shock would look like.  I am so pleased with it.  It's very subtle which would be perfect for those that aren't into the crackle phase.  Will have to do a full many with the crackle as well.

I hope you didn't mind all the pictures.  What pink are you wearing today?

Milani Nailart Purple Outline

Good Morning,

I heard the Atlantis Sonic Boom this morning.  Cape Canaveral is 55 miles away from Orlando.  I was getting ready for work when it landed it was so loud and thunderest I thought it landed in my back yard. Lol!

I am so excited this morning to show you this idea that I got from Makeupalley/nailcare.  I've had these bottles for so long and now decided to empty them into a nail polish bottle.  It's so gorgeous, it's definitely going on my top 20 list.  Milani Purple Outline is a one coater but of course I used two coats.  It sparkles fuchsia and blue fine glitter shimmer in a purple creme base.  I took lots of picture on this one *-*

This is what it looks like without top coat...it dries to a satin finish

Here are the empty nailart bottles

...but once topcoat is applied. Ooh La La!!

If you see this fabulous Nailart colour I suggest you to pick up a couple of bottles.

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

108 Degrees and Pinky Moon

Good Morning,

108 Degrees it sure feels like it here in Florida! Lol!  Well, Before taking it off I layered on Kleancolor Pinky Moon.  It looks like sprinkles landed on my fingers.  This confetti type glitter is irridescent in color and has moon shapes and bar glitter mixed together in a tinted pink base.  I had to fish out the moons and only applied 2 of them on my middle finger.

I layered on 2 coats

The other moon is on the free edge corner...can you see it?

So, when you are bored with your mani just apply some glitter or any layering polish for a new look.

Do you like confetti bar glitter?  Or different shapes...which is your favorite?

Blogger problems:  I'm having trouble signing in and commenting at my home computer but is okay at my job's computer.  I tried to clear my cache and cookies still doesn't work.  I hope this gets fixed soon.  Anyone else having the same issues?

China Glaze Island Escape Summer Collection Swatches/Review

Good Morning,

I have the Island Escape Summer Collection to show you.  This collection is great for the summer.  I love all the colors.  They are bright and fun.

                                  Blue Iguana
Turquoise Blue glass fleck with a hint of purple.  The formula is thin so I needed 3 coats

Papaya Punch
Orange creme that's not as bright as a neon.  I used 2 coats

108 Degrees
Glass fleck Fuchsia with a flash of pink shimmer needed 2 coats

Electric Pineapple
Yellow green creme or chartreuse needed 2 coats

Cha Cha Cha
Yellow tone green with a flash of yellow shimmer needed 2 coats

Senorita Bonita
Purple with red shimmer needed 2 coats

From the bottles I didn't think this collection was all that special.  Once I applied them I fell in love.  I used 2 coats on all except Blue Iguana which needed 3 coats to get to bottle color.  It's a nice variety of colors in this collection which included my favorite colors blue, green and purple.  The cremes were easy to apply as well.

These were sent to me for review

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark
