Look Book: Ruby Sparkles

Good Morning everyone,  nail polish is not the only thing I love, I also love jewelry in precious gem stones.  Today it looks like I am wearing rubies on my tips.

My base is two coats of NOPI Keeping Up With Santa a deep velvet red with red shimmer.  That polish in itself is gorgeous alone.  I can't believe I'm starting to fall in love with reds.  Since I haven't used my Lynnderella Ruby Red Ruby I layered on one coat. 

 

 

 

Ruby Red Ruby looks like ruby cut sparkles.  Multiple sizes of red microglitter, hexagon glitter and square in a sheer red base. 

 

 

I love my nails, I love ruby gem stones and I love Ruby Red Ruby.

Pink Wednesday, Leopard Print Nails

Hi Everyone,  Do you like animal prints?  Which ones? Leopard, Zebra, Giraffe just to name a few.  I love them in clothing, handbags, house accessories just about anything.  Today, I did leopard prints on my nails.  It's a fun and easy design to do and I plan on doing more.  They are really striking when they are done with various color bases and colored spots.

My base is Pure Ice Nude Beach which is a very pale pink creme.  The gold glitter is OPI Gift of Gold (2010 OPI Ulta Exclusive Winter Collection) it also has some red glitter in it. The black is Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris.  I achieved this lovely print by laying down the golden spots in random shapes with my dotting tool also with my dotting tool I outlined the spots with black it can't get any easier than that.    

 

I love my nails and I can't stop looking at them.

Look Book: OPI Die Another Day, Tribal Nail Art Design

I can't believe I'm wearing another red two days in a row how about that.  I'm loving the reds in the OPI Skyfall Collection.  They are so rich and fabulous.  Here is a simple tribal nail art design.

OPI Die Another Day is such a pretty red shimmer.  It looks great paired with black and white.  I used It's So Easy Stripe Rite striper pens.

 

 

  Tribal designs are so fun to do I really need to take my time and do a more intricate one.

A Quick Nail Art Design

Have you every been in the middle of doing a nail design and got called right away to do something quick?  Well, it  happened to me while doing this nail art.  Hubby needed me right away.  I hurried and took a quick picture before I took off. Lol! 

 

The pretty red with gold glitter is OPI The Spy Who Loved Me from the 2012 Skyfall Collection.  For my index finger I applied OPI The Gift Of Gold from the 2010 Ulta Exclusive Collection.  It's a glitter bomb that consist of gold and red glitter.  I used the brush and formed a "V" shape.  Then I used a striper polish in black and outlined the "V" shape.  That's as far as I got.  I think it's still cute on one finger.

 

  Now imagine my nails still wet what they looked like after I was done helping hubby. A messed up nail design. Lol! I'll be doing this again and hopefully with no disturbance.

Look Book: SinfulColors Hot Hot Heat

Hi Everyone,

Last month I took advantage of the $.99 sale at Walgreen's and picked up some SinfulColors that I do not have.  I didn't own Hot Hot Heat so I picked it up even though I usually pass up on most red shades.  To my surprise I am happy to say I love this polish.  It's from the Hot Flash Metallics Collection. 

 

I would describe this as a candy apple red with shimmer.   Lovely application and I only used one coat here and it covered well.  I'm sure it would be a good stamping polish.

 

 

 

There are eight shades in the Hot Flash Metallics Collection.  Did you get them all?  At $.99 each I couldn't pass them up.

OPI Designer Series Shades For Fall 2012 Indulgence and Luxurious Swatches and Review

Hi Everyone!

Two New OPI Diamond Dust-Infused  Designer Series Shades

Designer Series lacquer formula is enhanced with real diamond dust, offering light reflecting, multidimensional color.

                                     OPI DS Indulgence (DS 042)

This is a vibrant, shiny red and golden shimmer.  So rich I can't stop looking at it. Used 2 coats

OPI DS Luxurious (DS 043)

This is a bright fiery orange with golden shimmer it sparkles so amazing! Used 2 coats.  

 I can't pick a favorite I'm loving these just the same.  They are eye catchers and so amazingly beautiful!  The formula is excellent and it floats on the nail with easy due to the perfect prowide brush which I love so much.  You guys have to add these to the rest of your DS collection.

A gorgeous red creme, thick formula it applied nicely with two coats with no streaking.


                                           Dermelect Above It

A lovely sky blue creme, the formula on this one is thinner then the other two colors.  The first coat had some streaking going on but with two coats it turned out nice and opaque.


                                           Dermelect Head Turner

A beautiful orange creme nice formula just like Power Trip it applied wonderfully in two coats without streaking.

This collection consist of six shades they claim to resist chipping, improves brittleness and strengthens weak nails.  I haven't used these long enough to see if these statements are true but they are fast drying and has a high shine to them.  The colors aren't unique but they are lovely.

Glitter Gal Code Red Swatches and Review

Glitter Gal is a brand that's  based in Australia.   These babies were hard to get a hold if you live in the United States like I do.  Not so much anymore, yeppers you can get as many as your heart so desire.  Glitter Gal has one of the most sought after linear holographic polishes especially if you are a holographic lover like me.  They are so beautiful!

                                Glitter Gal: Code Red

No Topcoat

Code Red is a deep red linear holographic.  I applied a base coat, Nfu Oh Aqua Base then two coats of Code Red.  The formula is superb excellent no problems with application. Isn't it awesome how it glows.  R-a-inbow oh yes!

The bottle is the new, larger size bottle. The original bottles were only 9ml, these new bottles are 15ml
