Lucid with an Overcoat

Hi Beautiful People,

The other day while in Walgreen's I spied another Sally Hansen collection that consist of Basecoats  and Jewel  Overcoats.  I only picked up White Veil  Jewel Overcoat because it was interesting to me.  It's packed full of small white and mid-size gold glitters.  For some reason I think of Quaker Grits when I look at it from the bottle. Lol! It definitely caught my eye when I saw the display.

First, I put on 2 coats of Sparitual Lucid from the Water Collection.  It's a very pretty light lilac creme so smooth! Then I layered it with 1 coat of White Veil.

Lucid

Here on my nails the small white glitter looks clear, but they are white as you see in the bottle.

If you are a glitter fan I suggest you hurry and pick up White Veil! The others didn't interest me and besides they look like dupes of glitters that I already have.

What do you think of this combo?

Sally Hansen Red Zin, Etc Swatches and Review

Good Morning,

It's nothing like wearing a dark red wine color anytime during the year. It's my hubbies favorite that he likes for me to wear.  I got lots of compliments on Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Red Zin. While shopping in Walgreen's a young lady asked me what I was wearing I told her what it was and she picked it up to buy it for herself.  Can you believe I made a sale for Walgreen's. Ha Ha it made me feel good *-*

Red Zin is a gorgeous creme/jelly.  No problems with the application and it took 3 coats to cover well for me.  It's really shiny too.

Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle Serum is a clear gel very light and it moisturizers cuticles nicely.  You can put it on bare nails or over polished nails.  I use it at night before going to bed it keeps my cuticles hydrated.

Dry Chapped Hand Creme it's not thick but just the right consistency. After using my hands don't have that whitish dry look or feel to them. I love it!

You can find these at your local drug stores

Going In Circles

I'm happy it's the weekend!  I did several things to my nails.  First, I put on 3 coats of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Eel SkinSecond, one coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Glass Slipper.  I can see myself putting it on every creme I own.  And, third did a stamping with Chanel Vendetta using XL Plate B.

Why does macro have to show every little flaw. Lol!  I promise it looks better irl

Glass Slipper killed my lemming for Illasmaqua Raindrops and CND Sugar Sparkle.  (Hugs bottle)

 Eel Skin a nice creme

SH OverCoat Antique Gold

Good Morning,

It's all about the crackle.  SH Overcoat.  Pretty cleaver of Sally coming up with the name.  I like the square bottle too with the crackle lid.  The prices of these are pretty steep don't you think?  $7.99 Gesh!  Some Walgreen's have them for $6.99 and  Walmart has them priced at $6.24.  The other problem I have with these is the brush...why is the brush sooo tiny?!  It would have been nice if these had the same brushes as the Sally Hansen complete salon manicure ones.

I like Antique Gold's formula.  The gold is so sparkly.  I haven't tried the others yet.

                                  Antique Gold
I don't think pictures show the true actual prettiness of crackles.  After I applied a topcoat it glistens and shines can't see it in the pictures though.

Did you grab any of the Overcoats?  Which ones?  Which ones do you like?

Cracked Concrete Nailart

Good Morning,

I loved my shimmery silver nails so much I wasn't ready to remove it.  Layering is so much fun you can change a look with so many different finishes.  I choose China Glaze's Cracked Concrete.  I know many of you don't like crackle polish but, to me it's like adding on nailart without all the fuss.  It's so easy just brush on boom, boom and your done.  I applied it with a criss cross motion and then applied topcoat that's it!

Have you jumped on the crack wagon?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

Go Green Friday! Project Runway

(Live Green, Love Green, Think Green)

It's a Fabulous Friday,  I'm so excited because I was able to swap for the entire Canadian Exclusive Sally Hansen's Project Runway Collection.  I originally wanted Project Runway but since I had the opportunity to get the whole collection why not. Thank you so much Natalie.  Woot!!  Oh Sally why didn't you release this collection to the US?!  It's a beautiful collection and these beauties are in the old square bottles that I love. Here they are:

Not the best picture. Click click to get a closer look.  I need a light box :/

Today, I have on Project Runway.  It's a gorgeous deep green with yellow gold and green shimmer mixed in throughout the formula.  Easy to work with and I only needed 2 coats.

The fine glitter/shimmer shows up well on the nail and it's very smooth

I can't wait to try the rest of the collection

Going Green Tip: Go to a car wash - Going to a car wash is a lot more water efficient then washing your car at home.
