30 Days Of Purple Day 1: CG Purplexed

Debbie's blog "The Crumpet"  is doing a 30 days of purple for the month of November.  I am a purple lover and I decided to join her.  It's not a challenge persa because anything goes just as long as it's purple.   I'll see how long I can keep up I'll even incorporate some nail art on some days.  I'm excited to show you all the lovely purples that I have in my stash.

Cover Girl Perplexed

This post can also be a "Throwback Thursdays" post featuring Cover Girl Purplexed.  It is an oldie but goodie in my book.  A lovely purple duochrome that shifts from green to an amber gold.  I'm not to good at taking pictures in the sun (any suggestions?) and the sun wasn't quite bright enough to show off all the colors.  I'm sorry my pictures aren't very good.

The formula was thin but not problematic as far as application.  It built up nicely for me with 3 coats.

Ah! see the colors of green and amber

I'm loving this purple duochrome from Cover Girl.  I believe I purchased it at Dollar Tree awhile ago.  Cover Girl decided to make polishes again I saw their new collection at my local Walgreens, but they aren't as lovely as their older ones just your basic creme colors and some shimmers.

Are you a purple lover?  Come and join us on this purple spree for the month of November.

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠)

Throwback Thursdays: China Glaze Crystal Ball

Hi Everyone,

I'm excited to show you this Hard To Find (HTF) polish, China Glaze Crystal Ball .  It's from the China Glaze 2001 Platinum Collection (info here) pretty old collection, huh.  I found this beauty at a dusty nail salon a year ago now I'm pulling it out of the vault to show you.

China Glaze Crystal Ball

It's a gorgeous burgundy holographic polish.  It's old look at the bottle cap,  don't make them like that anymore.  The formula is strong smelling but it was easy to apply 2 smooth coats I used here. No gritty glitter.

I love this shade of burgundy not too light or too dark it's perfect for the fall.

I was a happy lady when I found this *-*. Now I'm dying to find Grape Crush! It too is a beauty that I want in my collection.

Do you own China Glaze Crystal Ball? What about China Glaze Grape Crush? Do you own any others from the 2001 Platinum Collection?

Throwback Thursdays: NATROBBINS Phantom

Savvy from Addicted To Polish decided to have a Throw Back Thursdays and I decided to join her.  Besides I have lots of oldies but goodies polishes that I have in my collection to share with you.  They are screaming to be used and I am excited!

NATROBBINS Phantom

The formula is so thin when I shake the bottle you can hear it. The first coat gave me bald spots I had to be patient and take my time with it.  The second coat was easier and the third coat was perfect.  It's a chocolate brown with a flash of violet shimmer.  It's unique, I don't have anything like it in my collection.  I mistakenly found it on ebay while searching for another shade by NATROBBINS.  Unfortunately, this brand is discontinued but it's still available on ebay or you may find it at a dusty.

Love the square bottle.  The brush size is standard.

The flash of violet is not hidden.
