Pure Ice Five Brand New Shades, Swatches and Review

Pure Ice is proud to announce the launch of Runway Nail Trends, a new, limited-edition collection that will have your nails runway-ready this fall! Launching exclusively at Walmart stores.

I have five brand new shades to share with you today.

                                         Pure Ice Getting Gorgeous
Pure Ice Getting Gorgeous
Pure Ice Getting Gorgeous
Getting Gorgeous, Blue glass flecks with purple and blue iridescent microglitter, it's bold and beautiful.  The formula is thin which requires three coats to reach full opacity.

Pure Ice Alter Ego
Pure Ice Alter Ego
Pure Ice Alter Ego
Alter Ego, Rich coffee brown with copper microglitter and silver shard flakes.  This polish is incredible I love it because of the shards which shows off it's uniqueness.  Great formula used two coats.

Pure Ice Nude Beach
Pure Ice Nude Beach
Pure Ice Nude Beach
Nude Beach, light pale pink pearl creme.  The first coat was streaky but covered well with the second coat.  This is a nice nude and looks great with my skintone.

Pure Ice Silver Lining
Pure Ice Silver Lining
Pure Ice Silver Lining
Silver Lining, silver glitter and silver holo diamond shards in a clear jelly base.  Here I used two coats.  I think it's best to use as a layering polish.  I did have to fish for the diamond shards to apply a few of them on each nail.

Pure Ice Glass Of Bordeaux
Pure Ice Glass Of Bordeaux
Glass Of Bordeaux, Sheer black jelly with red microglitter it's like fire in a bottle.  It's something about black jellies that I love so much.  Used three coats to reach opacity.

Overall:  These are some great polishes.  No problems with the formula except for Nude Beach being streaky with the first coat and having to fish out the diamond shards in Silver Lining.  The drying time was normal.  My absolutely wow favorites are Alter Ego and Glass Of Bordeaux.

Pure Ice Lacquers And Crackles, Swatches and Review

Hello Everyone,

Pure Ice Brand is not to be reckoned with. They offer some amazing colours and finishes that will satisfy every nail polish lover.  I have some lacquers and crackle nail enamels to share with you today.  Without further ado let's get started...

                                         Pure Ice Eyes Of Steel
Pure Ice Nail Polish
Eyes Of Steel,  I'm in love with this polish.  It's a dark charcoal chrome finish.  The formula was thick but not in a bad way. Even though it's streaky it doesn't bother me. I  used two coats.  I know this would make a great stamping polish.

Pure Ice Crackle Lightning Strikes
Pure Ice Crackle
Lightning Strikes, a silver glittery crackle.  Nice formula not too thin or too thick  I layered one coat over Eyes Of Steel.  The cracks are consistant on each nail.

Pure Ice Beware
Pure Ice Nail Polish
Beware, is a micro silver glitter that sparkles.  It's best used as a layering polish or for a crackle polish to layer over it.  I used 4 coats.

Pure Ice Crackle Cat Walk
Catwalk, a yellow crackle with silver shimmer added to the mix. Nice formula  I layered one coat over Beware.  Normal time for the cracks to appear.

Silver Mercedes
Pure Ice Nail Polish
Silver Mercedes, a light silver metallic finish.  I'm a fan of these metallics.  I'll be wearing them more often.  Great formula and was opaque with one coat but I decided to apply two coats.

Pure Ice Crackle Shattered
Pure Ice Crackle Polish
Shattered, a lime green crackle that looks amazing over Silver Mercedes.  You have to be quick  applying this crackle because it dries and cracks fast. I used one coat.

Overall:  Pure Ice makes some great polishes.  Don't let the under $2.00 price tag fool you.  I'm impressed with the chrome and the metallic.  The crackles are great too.

Hard Candy Mushroom

Remember my post title "Can't see the forest for the trees"?  Several of you wanted to know what my base color look like on it's own.  The color is a muted mid-tone brown creme. It does not contain any purple undertones.  I purchased it a while back from Walmart.

                                            Hard Candy Mushroom

It makes me think of a hot cup of cocoa, while still in pajamas feeling all warm and cozy. I used 3 coats to reach opacity.  I think this shade will suit all skin tones.

Brown is another shade I like to wear during the fall/winter months.  Do you like wearing brown on your nails?

Blue Monday, Nail Fantasies

By rmcandlelight
Nail Fantasies: 'Celestial'

Blue Monday by Annie Lee

Good Morning,  I hope you had a prosperous weekend.  Went into a Walmart  I normal  don't go to and saw this brand I haven't seen before.  There were not alot of colors to choose from.  Only one  caught my eye.  'Celestial'.  The name sounded very familiar to me.  After I got home I looked at the tag on  back of bottle and it's made from baricosmetics.  I went to google to search it out.  Come to find out they have several brands of polish Pure Ice,  Love my nails and Bon Bons.  Back to the name 'Celestial'.  Pure Ice has one with the name 'Frosted Ice Celestial'.  There not dupes..Phew.

In real life from the bottle and on my nails there is a flash of light blue shimmer.  I love this polish easy application and only needed 2 coats.

Do you have any from this brand?

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark
