Pink Wednesday, Pink Canvas

Sorry guys, I know I'm behind already on my 30 Days of Purple Challenge.  You know life can get in the way sometimes.  Let's just say today is commercial day. Lol!  I'll have to play catch up day to resume regular programming.

I have a pretty pink canvas to show you.  I did the saran wrap technique which is one of my favorites to do.

My base color is Dr.'s Remedy Hopeful Hot Pink which required 2 easy coats.  After it dried I layered on one coat of Dr.'s Remedy Nurture Nude Pink.  I waited about 30 seconds for it to be somewhat tacky then used pieces of saran wrap dabbing off the top layer so the darker pink can peak through, added on Out The Door topcoat and it's a pretty pink canvas :D

The formula is good requiring 2 coats.
Starting from the left:
  • Some Like It Hot - A bright coral creme with red undertones. This colour is really pretty.
  • Fanappleistic - A bright apple green creme.  It's buttery and opaque.  The name is cute.
  • Spice Up Your Life - An orange creme it's juicy and vibrant.
  • Colour Me Up - Ha Ha, The name of the collection and it's different then the others.  A dark purple with gold shimmer.

  •
Here are so fun designs using all the colors...

Spice of your life is peaking behind Fanappleistic

Starting at the top index finger base Colour Me Up, I used the rest of the colours using small pieces of plastic wrap dabbing them on.  Middle finger base Spice up your life, I stamp on a design using Fanappleistic which stamped very well.  Ring finger base Fanappleistic I stamped on flowers using Colour Me Up it too stamped very well.  Last but not least pinkie finger base Some like it hot, I added on dots. (stamping plate cheeky ch44)

    Throwback Thursdays...Autumn Scene

Hi Everyone,  Sorry I didn't post anything the last few days and it's not like I didn't try.   Have you ever had one of those day(s) that you couldn't pick a color or didn't have any ideas and when you finally had an idea it just didn't work out.  You know what I'm talking about.  I hate when this happens to me because for just a second...just a second  I wanted to quit blogging!  I can't let that happen because I have too many polishes to share with you guys. Lol!

Even though I live in sunny Florida I'm ready for autumn. Of course I have to look at pictures to see the beautiful autumn scenes of colored leaves.  Sally Hansens New Lengths Amber Beads Creme, it's a beautiful rusty brown with golden shimmer.  It applied wonderfully in 2 coats.☺

I just had to mimic the autumn scene using the cling wrap technique.  I want to thank whomever discovered this method.  It was super easy to do and I will be doing it again.

I'm so happy with my autumn scene mani, I was thinking about stamping some leaves over it.  Should I?  I bought SH NL Amber Beads Creme a few years ago at Dollar Tree.  It's still available on ebay.
