I'm excited to share with you the OPI Skyfall Collection inspired by 007 James Bond.
OPI celebrates the 50th Anniversary of a fellow world icon – James Bond – appearing in Skyfall. Starring Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem, this highly-anticipated twenty-third installment opens in theaters nationwide on November 9, 2012.
See swatches after the jump...
OPI Moonraker
Moonraker is a silver blue frost metallic. The formula is weird giving me streaks and bald spots. Even though the formula was hard to work with, I do love the color (I'm not giving up on it just yet) it might work for stamping nail designs. Applied 2 coats.
OPI The Living Daylights
The Living Daylights is a teal, silver, copper glitter in a clear base. It's a great combo of colors. I think it looks fabulous over Moonraker. I tried polishing it on but no, no it works better by dabbing it on.
OPI GoldenEye
GoldenEye is a dark glittery gold. It's so sparkly! The formula is watery but it builds up nicely with 3 coats.
OPI The World Is Not Enough
The World Is Not Enough is a smokey silver and pink shimmer. It looks way better in real life and it's totally unique and beautiful. The formula is thin therefore I needed 3 coats for opacity.
OPI On Her Majesty's Secret Service
On Her Majesty's Secret Service a gunmetal silvery blue with green, blue, pink and gold shimmer. Another unique shade in the collection. Formula is on the thin side needing 3 coats for opacity.
OPI Live And Let Die
Live And Let Die, Look at this! I can't stand it I'm in love with this polish. It's a deep dark green and gold shimmer. The formula is AmaaaZing! And it's a ONE COATER! (It's going in my one coater drawer) It's so dreamy.
OPI Skyfall
Skyfall, a dark maroon creme or could be an oxblood red. Ding, ding, ding another winner for me. I know most don't like these types of colors but I love wearing them during the fall/winter months. Great formula with smooth application only needing 2 coats.
OPI Casino Royale
Casino Royale, a deep purple plum creme another great fall color I like to wear. Great formula used 2 coats.
OPI The Spy Who Loved Me
The Spy Who Loved Me, I didn't think much of this one from the bottle but once I started applying it oh boy do I love this polish. It's a bright red packed with gold shimmer. I'm sure there are several dupes for it but it definitely impressed me. Nice formula I used 2 coats.
OPI Die Another Day
Die Another Day, a pretty red shimmer. The formula is nice and I used 2 coats.
OPI You Only Live Twice
You Only Live Twice, a luscious magenta pink with magenta pink and gold shimmer. It's very sparkly, I like this one alot too. Great formula used 2 coats.
OPI Tomorrow Never Dies
Tomorrow Never Dies, Another amazing one, my camera shot this incorrectly it's really a jewel tone royal purple with pink and blue shimmer in the mix. The formula is great and I only needed 2 coats for full opacity.
Overall, I think this is a great collection. My absolutely wow favorites are: The Living Day Lights (over moonraker haven't tried it yet over the others in the collection) Live and Let Die, Skyfall, The Spy Who Loved Me, You Only Live Twice and Tomorrow Never Dies.
So what do you guys think? Which ones are you getting?
