Look at the Rainbow!!

Good Morning,

Yesterday afternoon I could not  decide on what lacquer to put on.  Hmm!  Its sunny and hot out so I decided to put on a holographic polish...but which one?  Well, since Fabuloustreet made a new batch of NFU OH 61 and since I have the original for about 1 year now. (yeah, yeah I have lots of untrieds. lol!) I pulled it out the bin along with the aqua base.  I applied one coat of base coat, one coat of the aqua base and 2 coats of 61.

I ran outside in a  hurry before the sun went down...it kept coming up then going back down.  It was not as bright as I was hoping for.  Oh well, but you still can see the holo goodness.  Talk about a rainbow wow!  it blew my mine

This picture was taken under my ott light.  It really looks like this...Stunning!  Isn't it unbelievable?!

I applied topcoat to my index finger only to see if it would dull the holo and it did
After I applied it I hurried and took a snapshot before it dried.  You see it's not as holographic.

Then I applied topcoat to all nails and waited a few minutes to dry.  You can see it's not as bright but still beautiful.

Yep, I will be indulging in my stash for more holo's

I did order a backup and from what the ladies are saying on the nail board it's not as holo as the original.  Whoo Who!  I'm glad I own the original *-*

Do you love holo's and do you own 61? Do you have a favorite?

Win It Wednesday with Revlon!

Good Afternoon!

I have a couple of awesome Revlon's that are just awesome to have.  Top Speeds.  During last year everyone was getting the top speeds from CVS with a coupon. About a week ago one of my Walgreen's had a manager's special for .99 cents can you believe it!?

Royal is a must have.  It's a gorgeous royal blue jelly.  I adore it because it's blue and it's a jelly!  Next is Electric it's a sunshine slightly shimmer yellow.  Many are comparing it to Chanel's Mimosa.  I have seen side by side swatches and I could not tell the difference.  It was said that the Revlon has the better formula.  Way to go Revlon!  Next is Black with Envy.  Now when I saw the display at Ulta it didn't look special to me but I picked it up anyway and I'm glad I did.  It's a beautiful black with a tinge of green shimmer.  It's a really close dupe to Chanel's Black Pearl.  High five to Revlon!

Here are my swatches:

                        Royal
It dries to a semi matte finish

Added one coat of Revlon ColorStay topcoat. These pictures are from my post back in December

Electric
It does have a slight shimmer

I wanted to see what it looked like with a coat of Revlon's Banana Blaze Glimmer Gloss. A pretty yellow sparkly glitter.  My picture doesn't give it justice.  I applied 2 thin coats and one thick coat of Electric.

                            Black with Envy

Great formula only needed 2 coats

From the bottles Chanel Black Pearl has more green in it.  On the nail it's only a slight difference.  They are close.  I used 2 coats on both.  I think Black with Envy is just as pretty!

Can you tell the difference here?

or here?  Very close right?

A Coral One

Good Morning,

I have been so busy lately and buying too much polish.  I miss blogging! Today, I am showing you my notd.  It's a gorgeous bright coral from Sinful Colors *Hazard* from their new colors.  The formula is thick and  is creme-y and only needed 2 coats.

I was playing around with my new BM plate set but my stamping didn't turn out so well so I'm not showing you. Nothing wrong with the plates its the user. Lol!  You deserve to look at nice nail designs :)

Keep in mind this color is more coral then what's showing.

Stay tune for Win It Wednesday!
